Dry pet food may be more environmentally friendly than wet food

A research team in Brazil looked at the environmental footprint (land and water use) of wet diets which contain more meat than dry diets to conclude that dry food may be more environmentally friendly. I am not totally convinced by this 'desktop data' driven argument, but with so many pets on our planet, research is helpful to guide decisions by pet owners.
